Obituary of Kenneth Westcott Martin

It is with deep sadness at the age of 91, Kenneth Westcott Martin died in the Victoria Hospital.

Ken followed his father into banking, however, insurance was his calling.

He successfully built an insurance legacy in Dorchester, Ontario passing it along to his sons at retirement.  Ken completed his profession as GM for IBAO in Toronto.

He was a man of many passions spanning boating, RVing, snowmobiling, cottage life and lawn bowling.  You could always find Ken with his Chow dogs and pipe.

Ken leaves behind his great love, wife Laurel (Rath) Martin married for 67 years; his 3 children Steven (Julie), Robert and Susanne (Greg); 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.  Predeceased by a grandson Daniel Martin (1999).

At his request, cremation has taken place.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.
