Obituary of Derrick Edward James Wallace

Suddenly as a result of an accident on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Derrick Edward James Wallace of Dorchester passed away in his 35th year. Devoted father of Ezra, Calvin and Silas and fondly remembered by the mother of his children, Amanda Wallace (nee Harris). Cherished son of Kevin and Gail (nee Hope) Wallace of Dorchester. Loving brother of Brandon and Michelle both of Dorchester. Dear grandson of Jim and Beulah Wallace of London and the late Edward (Ted) and Marion Hope. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Eli Wallace, Avery Somers, Nicholas Moonen, Halle Moonen, Mayzie Moonen, Noah Davis, Levi Davis, Isabelle Davis, Micah Davis, Andy Silveira, Graham Silveira and Anna Silveira. Beloved son in law of Ron and Linda Harris of Dorchester. Very special and loving partner of Kate Veinot of London. Derrick is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.) Funeral service will be held at the Summerside Community Church, 1447 Commissioners Road East, London on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID 19 protocols as set forth by Provincial and Local Health Units and to control the numbers of people at any given point during visitation and the funeral service, you are required to telephone (519)-268-7672 to register your name and telephone number and desired time you wish to attend the visitation and/or attend the funeral service.
