Passed away peacefully at Henley Place, London on January 6, 2021 in her 87th year following a short illness.
Predeceased by her loving husband Bill; her parents Art and Dorothy Hodgins and her brothers Walter Hodgins and Donald Hodgins.
Cherished mother of Karen (John) Sanford and Lisa (Glen) Nantais. Loved grandmother of Chad Sanford, Jacob Sanford and Alannah Nantais.
Sadly missed by sister-in-law Judy Hodgins, nephew Art (Carole) Hodgins and their son Cody and niece Lori (Mark) Hickson and their children Julia and Matthew.
Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Shirley are asked to consider JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation - Canada).
Due to COVID 19 protocols, there will be no funeral service.
Friends are asked to raise a glass and have a cheer to celebrate Shirley's life.
Cremation has taken place.
A private family inurnment service will take place at the Dorchester Union Cemetery Columbarium.
