Mike and family, I am so sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. We have so many memories of our times shared during aquafit classes at the Carling Community Centre. At Christmas time, at the pool, they sometimes played the song, “ I want a hippopotamus for Christmas” and Cathy loved to sing along. Every time I heard that song, it reminded me of Cathy. She had so much love for her family and shared stories with us. Cathy put up a such fight for so long. May she now Rest In Peace.

Dear Mike and family
Cathy and I were grade school friends and graduated grade eight together, about sixty decades ago. We celebrated milestones together in our young adult life, weddings, births of children, New Year's Eves etc. My young family looked forward to visits to your farm. As time passed, even though our paths crossed less we did not miss chance to chat, share news, and laugh when circumstances brought us together. My memories of Cathy are that of a woman who was dedicated to her family, enjoyed a good story, and had an easy going, open minded nature. My thoughts are with you at this time of profound loss.
Sincerely, Randa Moir

My deepest condolences to the family, you had a very kind, caring and wonderful mother, and I was lucky enough to have her as my Aunt. I spent a few summer at the farm during hay season, went to family reunions and many visits with Aunt Cathy, her face always lite up when she had a joke to tell and she loved telling them. She loved her family so much and it showed because that’s all she talked about, I will miss you dearly Aunt Cathy, Rest In Peace now. Love you❤️
