Obituary of Alexis Lynne Statham

Peacefully at Sakura House, Woodstock, with her family by her side, Alexis Statham on February 17th 2022 in her 81st year. Loving wife of Dave for 44 years. Beloved mother of Mike Paiement (Debbie) of Regina, Dave Paiement of Hamilton, Ray Paiement (Jen) of Calgary and Laura Paiement (Kyle) of Milton. Doting Grandmother to her pride and joy’s Brad, Shelby, Blake, Madison, Cole, Brynn, Palmer, Graydon, Terri, Kelly, Kevin and Danielle. She is survived by her brother Jim Thorner (Donna) of Fernie, British Columbia. She is sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alexis was a longtime member of both Dorchester United Church and St. Andrew Westminster United Church and was involved in many church events and sang in the choir as well. Alexis was also a member of the Dorchester Skating Club, being active in many activities through the years. She enjoyed her time in the kitchen, always baking or cooking something delicious for her family. A special thank you to the staff at Sakura House – Woodstock for their above-and-beyond care and compassion during her stay. The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday February 22nd 2022 from 7-9PM with a funeral service on Wednesday February 23rd 2022 at 11AM followed by burial at Dorchester Union Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Andrew Westminster United Church or Sakura House – Woodstock.
