In memory of Anne Owen Crisp
1928-2018
Suddenly, and just shy of her 90th birthday, Anne Crisp (née Protheroe) left us on February 8, 2018.
Anne was a woman who loved learning. She overcame great early hardships through sheer determination and intelligence, going on to achieve a masters degree in library science at UWO while raising her family.
She will be tremendously missed by her husband of 65 years, Edward Crisp, and her children Heather (Michael), Barbara (Donald) and Peter (Fang). Mourning the loss of their grandmother are Holly (Ben), Jill, Rosemary (Jonathan), Elizabeth, Gordon (Rachel), Timothy, Victor and Amelie.
One of Anne’s greatest gifts to us was an appreciation of the small moments of everyday happiness. Her family raises a collective G & T in her memory.
A private service was held on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Bieman Funeral Home. A celebration of life is planned in the coming months.
