Joan Elizabeth Hickey, of Dorchester Ontario, passed away on March 15th, 2023 at London Health Science Centre. Joan was born on March 25, 1943, in Rexton NB, to parents Alice and Joe Hickey.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Shelley Rankin, her brother Beverly Hickey (Janet) and many beautiful nieces, nephews and cousins, along with many friends she made.
Joan held onto her Maritime heritage and stayed deeply rooted in her Dorchester community. Her love for socializing allowed her to form meaningful relationships with many individuals, resulting in a vast collection of entertaining stories and fond memories. She loved fishing, as well as capturing special moments with her camera.
At Joan’s request, Cremation has occurred, and a private interment will be held at Dorchester Union Cemetery.
