Dear Lois and Family - we are saddened to learn about the passing of Rev. Bruce - a true gentleman and neighbour that we didn't get to know long enough here on the 4th floor of Ailsa Craig - he always had a twinkle in his eye and a story with humor to share.
Please know that our thoughts are with you at this difficult time
Sincerely and with sympathy

Dear Lois, Janet, Leslie and David,
We have lovely memories of your time at St. John's Church; the most memorable being the building trip to Haiti, with Habitat for Humanity.
The two of you were like an anchor for the team.... including Steve and my dad, Earle Hackett.
It was a life-changing experience for everyone.
Thank you.
I'd like to share a special verse -
"Those you've loved are part of who you are,
of how you see the world, of how you live and give.
Their influences are yours forever.
Loved ones will leave the world,
but they will never leave your heart."

Rev. Bruce Scott was a very caring man of the St. Johns congregation while ministering there.
He spent hours with family when their members were in hospital giving unconditional support.
I worked for him in the office and was always supportive.
The comments I am hearing are all so positive of what a NICE man he was repeatedly.

Dear Lois, I have such fond memories of Bruce while I was serving my settlement charge at Dorchester-Crumlin Pastoral Charge. I appreciated his visits when he wanted to make sure I was taking care of myself while I was growing into this new step in my life journey. I fondly recall his gentle, caring presence. Many blessings to you and your family. He will be missed.

Lois and family, you have my sincere condolences. Bruce was a rock for many people in his service to various congregations. My mother, Fern Douglas, and my sister, Lorene, were members of St. John’s United in Stratford.
Over the years, I have often thought about Bruce and the compassion he showed me when my mother passed away. He seemed to have an inherent gift for knowing what someone needed in the way of support. May God give you strength and the warmth and power of His love as you deal with your grief.

Dear Uncle Bruce ... you will live forever in my heart. I have so many memories while growing up of family gatherings and time spent at your cottage with your family and mine. Both you and my father officiated for my wedding, one of the best days of my life! You will be missed by all who knew you whether family or friend!

Uncle Bruce was the most kind, gentle soul.
You felt nothing but love and comfort in his presence. He will be deep in my thoughts at all times.
The last time I saw him I remember when we were saying our goodbyes, he gave me a hug that must have lasted 2 minutes but felt much longer. You could tell he was soaking in the hug, as if he knew it would be our last. I will always remember that hug ❤️
Sending love to Aunt Lois and children.
Love and miss you so much ❤️
