Obituary of Stephen Brent Skelton
Please share a memory of Stephen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Stephen Brent Skelton on June 13, 2024, at the age of 65, while doing what he loved.
Steve is survived by his children, Shane Skelton (Amber) and Stacey Raftermann (Alex); his parents, Fred and Shirley Skelton; his sister, Susan Skelton (Dave); and his beloved granddaughters, Aleena Skelton and Avery Raftermann.
Steve recently became a grandfather and the role of Gramps brought him immense joy. He lived his life with curiosity and found delight in the little things such as watching birds, growing sunflowers, and restoring old cars. Steve could often be found out on his Harley or visiting his friends and family for coffee. He had a quick wit and will be remembered for his sense of humour and knack for delivering the best dad jokes.
His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, London at a later date.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 29th, 2024 from 12:00pm to 4:00pm at The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 513, 1227 Donnybrook Dr, Dorchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in Steve's name are appreciated.
