So disappointed with myself that I failed to keep in touch with Bruce when I could have after our happy days together at TTT (Tank Truck Transport) Sarnia branch. Only discovered today that Bruce had run out of time and had I known, I would have paid my last respects in person. In memory of him, I have posted a few photos of his 'Pete' (Tractor 80) and also one of myself that I took at a plastics plant in Oxford when I was covering for him one day. With that, I'll take a moment to mention Donna whom he always spoke of so fondly. I had a chuckle when he said, "She watches them like a hawk" referring to TTT management to ensure that Bruce was always paid for the considerable mileage that he ran. One time Bruce and I were talking about Hwy 401 and he said, "I've spent half of my life on it" going all the way back to the early days when he ran for Hutton Transport. I'm saddened to know he's gone and albeit late, I extend my sincere condolences to his entire family including his grandchildren whose photos were always displayed on the dashboard of his red Peterbilt.
Rest in Peace B.J.,
Your longtime friend John MacDonald (Sarnia, ON)

It has been very quiet next door, since Bruce has spent more time, in the hospital then at home. Thankful for the time of knowing him. He will be missed.
Praying for HEALING ...for all the grieving HEARTS.

Grandpa Bruce will be missed, I have so many great memories of him and we always loved when he would make it out to Alberta to visit us despite his fear of flying. I remember getting to play in his big truck and he would put us to work touching up the paint. I remember when he and Grandma would take us to Niagra falls. I was so happy he got to know my kids during visits to Mesa and Priddis. We will really miss him! Sending lots of love to the rest of his family during this hard time.
