Obituary of Jesse Lynn Warner
Merkai - Greek verb
To do something with soul, creativity or love; when you leave a piece of yourself in your work.
With the heaviest of hearts we sadly announce the passing of our sweet Jesse on Friday, May 24, 2019 at the age of 23. Jesse was born in Chatham, Ontario on March 27, 1996. She grew up in Blenheim, Ontario where she attended St. Mary and St. Anne Catholic Elementary School. In 2005, the family relocated in Dorchester where Jesse attend St. David Catholic Elementary School and Lord Dorchester Secondary School. Following high school, Jesse attended Algonquin College studying Business Marketing and Advertising. Jesse flourished in her program loving every aspect and excelled with her creative and social skills. Eventually discovering her love of "words" Jesse achieved a career as a copywriter accepting her first jobs in Toronto. As much as she loved the work in the big city, Jesse quickly realized that she was a small town girl and returned to her home, family and friends in Dorchester. Her current position in London was her "ideal gig" and she was following her dreams to travel and create. Her incredible passion for life and adventure was infectious and she lived each day learning, writing and inspiring others through her poetry and her stories. She cherished her family and friends and her enthusiasm for everything in life was contagious.
Missing her dearly are her parents John and Lynn, her siblings and best friends Emma and Sam along with their partners Matt and Emma. Family gatherings will never be the same for her Grandad Brian Warner, Grandparents Charles and Lillian Liberty as well as Aunts, Uncles and cousins from the Liberty, Warner and Sewell families. Jesse surrounded herself with a loyal circle of friends and coworkers whom she spoke of often and affectionately. She loved you all!
A private family service is planned.
A Celebration of Jesse and her amazing life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.. Words of remembrance will be at 2:30 p.m.
