Dear Family,
Our sincere condolences with the passing of Oom Koos. You will truly miss him.
We still have fond memories from our visit way back in 1976. We "helped" harvesting the wheat and while we were waiting for the combine to fill up the wagons, we talked for hours, sitting on the fenders of the tractor. Talking about our life in Holland and his in Canada and everything of our interest. He and Tante Riet welcomed us in their house and gave us one of those profound experiences you remember for a lifetime. Rest in peace dear Uncle Jake.
