Mrs. Holmes, Kevin, Heather and Samantha: I recently got word of Mr Holmes' passing. I was so incredibly sad to hear this news. I have very nice memories of you all from St Bernadette School and Sault Ste Marie. I also remember how much my mom appreciated your friendship! Heather, Kevin Heather Jr., and Samantha, my tears have flowed for two days recalling all the beautiful times together. How well I remember the music of the Blarneys and the wonderful Celtic songs sung. How well I remember the solos, the trio work, and the pride your Dad had in his musical children who were not only talented but great individuals whom I trusted to babysit my children.
How well I remember the many cups of coffee shared with Heather in the kitchen when finishing a late night of planning at St. Bernadette School. How well I remember the visits at our camp at Brimley and how well I remember Tim and you Heather coming to support my family when Peter died. How I want to return the same courtesy to you and yet this pandemic causes us to be split from people whom we think are extra special. Tim was one of those persons and so is the whole Holmes family. Know that I am sending unconditional love your way. With love always --------Bernice (Glew) Whalen

How lucky was I to have such a brother as Timothy John Holmes. Many have been loved as much but none more. We had an idyllic childhood...not a single unhappy memory - a household rich in love and family values. A caring extended family with our maternal grandmother and Bobby and Helen our uncle and aunt. Our closeness lasted all our lives and when he emigrated to Canada my mother and I cried solid for 6 months....it was like a death. I am reliving it. Tim... God created a special person in you.

Tim was such a lovely cousin who we had visited in Canada, where he and Heather took great care of us, showing us all over and around, including Michigan USA.
Tim and Heather had been planning to return to ~Dundee for a holiday in 2012 and we were determined to make the trip up
to see them whilst over here,
Although we didnt see each other as often as we would have liked he was a lovely man who will be sorely missed,
Our hearts go out to Heather and family at such a sad loss,
R.I.P. Tim till we meet up again,
All our love from Brenda, Phil, Trevor and family xx

Auntie Heather, Kevin, young Heather and Samantha. I was truly saddened to hear the first news about Uncle Tims heart attack, and then even more so to hear of his passing from my Mom yesterday. I was hoping that you might do a celebration of life later this year. But hopefully I will be able to arrange to see Aunt Heather sometime in the near future once the world isn't so upside down.
All our love, Carla, Chris and Owen
